I grew up in a small town in the woods of Connecticut and then fused that dirt jumps, bonfire,
and ponds mentality with some Brooklyn based bodega deadass-ness.

Tomatoes are pretty nasty, I despise them with a passion. However, I enjoy what tomatoes make; salsa, ketchup, sundried, these are all good. But a sliced tomato? Nah. A cherry tomato? fuggouttahere.
I appreciate what the source becomes, but despise the source. Sometimes things start out not ideal but with some ideation and creativity they become something much more ideal into something you couldn’t have foreseen until you smashed and sliced some things up.

I found this quote on a New Zealand architecture firm’s website:

“A willingness to learn, engage, banter, and hustle.”

I really liked that.

You can’t ask too many questions this rings true in UX, its questions and queries all the way.
I engage a little too much and might ask to help out or just offer to get the team some coffees.
I can banter, via teams chats or water coolers. I can do a good bantering.

And ya, hustle.
Passion and determination make hustle not even a word.

In UX I enjoy interviewing, talking to new people and getting their point of view as well as cracking open Figma and solving problems.

I do like to be the last person to talk in a room to asses the situation before I chime in.

I like to make stuff. Whether that’s a painting, a candle, an app, a sliding door, or a meatball, I like to make stuff.

Tequila, slow cooker liners, and ping pong

I’ve worked in creative advertising for 15 years in various brands and took that creative mindset and direction into tech and UX.

Some other brand categories I’ve worked in:

cars, minimally invasive surgery tools, tequila, game shows, oncology treatment, slow cooker liners, tourism, ping pong, raisins, tires, candles, and banking.

In the last few years, I have worked extensively within pharma. I launched with Astra Zeneca and Merck, worked with agile teams, and pitched for new business and have been pivoting and expanding into AI, UX, and tech.

I attended The School of Visual Arts with a focus on creative advertising and graphic design.

In 2025, I received a letter of recommendation from Randy Stein, creative director at Ogily. In that same year I attended full time courses with General Assembly with a focus on UX. In 2026 I’ll be taking my AI and UX knowledge further with AI prototyping courses at DesignLab.

Any new bands that are coming out with that classic early 2000’s post-hardcore Screamo aesthetic have my vote and full support and I will definitely go to Long Island to see your show.
