Coffee Tables in Bushwick

In 2023 I made a series of reclaimed wood coffee tables.

After the pandemic, outdoor dining was coming to a transitional period in NYC history. Restaurants either had to buy licenses or dismantle them completely. This meant there was plenty of wood to be had.

I frequented a French restaurant in Bushwick and knew the owner. She was more than happy to let me take the lumber.

When the city employees arrived to begin the dismantling process I got a Man with a Van, and we hauled 32 pieces of 8 ft pine lumber to my studio in East Williamsburg.

Following weeks of staining and coating with epoxy, I had a series of Brooklyn inspired coffee tables all named after streets; The Lafayette, Menahan, Seneca, Stockholm, Suydam, Weirfield, Woodbine and Wyckoff.

In 2020 I made a
basic ass candle company.

In 2018 I had a concept for a bank.

Combining art, finance, and investing
with Bank of America.

In 2017 I made candles for Brussels Airlines.

Scents of Travel

Senses are paramount to the travel experience.
We created a collection of small aromatic candles capturing
fascinating instances of their African destinations.

A palette of scents able to evoke a memory or arouse an impression of where Brussels is going in Africa.

I’ve made my own candle brands and I have extensive candle making experience and this campaign was created for their
promotional events.

From concepting, pouring wax, designing, and finally assembling I had a great hands-on opportunity with the whole process.

Each scent is meticulously blended with essential oils to capture the essence of each destination.

In 2011 I designed some movie titles
